Every install job is unique; not only in the sense of installing custom window treatments, but also in the stories of which are shared throughout the course of the day. Sometimes while installing custom window treatments, the client shares incredible stories about their lives. Sometimes the home itself tells a story either through its architecture, location, or the owner’s tasteful collection of books neatly arrayed in custom built bookcases. Either way, the stories are a fascinating perk to the custom window treatment installation profession!
We recently had a wonderful time swapping stories with Dan while working in his beautiful home in Enderly Pointe at Ladd Park in Franklin, TN. There we installed Norman shutters equipped with 3 ½” louvers and invisible tilt. We also installed a couple of Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades that looked absolutely fantastic mounted to a pair of French doors leading out onto their back patio. We capped that off with a Skandia Woven Wood Shade above their kitchen sink.
While getting to know the owner he told us about his musical endeavors as a saxophone hobbyist (I don’t know what he meant by hobbyist as he dropped a few incredible names of industry artists of whom he has collaborated)!
We’re glad Dan trusted Classic Blinds and Closets with their window treatment needs and for sharing a little bit of his story with us!
