One of the main reasons we became a Priority Retailer with Hunter Douglas several years ago was because they are constantly coming up with new innovations in window coverings. Most people are aware of products such as the Silhouette, Luminette, and Pirouette. One of the newer products that Hunter Douglas brought to the marketplace a couple of years ago is the Solera shade.
This is a wonderful fabric shade that is visually a bit of a hybrid of a roman shade and a honeycomb shade. It is very versatile and can be ordered in the standard bottom-up configuration or as a top-down bottom-up. Of course, like pretty much all of the Hunter Douglas line, it can also be motorized.
Take a look at these pictures from a recent installation in the Stream Valley subdivision in Franklin, TN. We even managed to get our ace installer, Glenn Waechter, into the picture.
